Founder & Designer
Georgia Deane is the founder and designer behind Georgia Deane Design — a residential practice she leads from first conversation to final installation. Her approach is holistic and measured, treating architecture, interiors, and furnishings as a single narrative. Rather than working to a fixed aesthetic, she responds to each context, client, and place, shaping homes that feel personal, enduring, and quietly confident.
Georgia trained in interior design at Parsons School of Design in New York, where she built the technical foundation of her practice. She went on to work with several established New York residential studios, including Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates — an AD100 and Elle Decor A-List practice — where she contributed to high-end residential projects and refined an approach grounded in craft, discretion, and considered detail.
Georgia came to interior design as a second career. Before training at Parsons, she spent several years in project management and corporate strategy within the Executive Office of a Fortune 500 financial services firm in London. Operating alongside the executive team, she developed a disciplined, highly structured approach to complex projects — one she now brings to every design commission, where managing budget, timeline, and trade coordination is as much a part of the work as material and proportion.
Today, Georgia takes on a small number of projects each year — primarily private residences across New York, Los Angeles, and internationally, alongside select hospitality and commercial commissions where the brief calls for a residential sensibility. Originally from Devon, England, she now lives between New York and Los Angeles.
