Georgia was approached to refresh a guest bedroom in this sixteenth century Devon farmhouse. The room had age-old charm; low ceilings, sloped floors, and walls that have settled into gentle angles over the decades. Georgia collaborated with a local carpenter to design a bespoke wardrobe that followed the room's unique geometry, transforming awkward angles into beautiful, functional storage that feels as though it has always belonged there.
She drenched the room with a warm neutral from Little Greene, an independent British manufacturer with its own 300 year history and a commitment to environmental responsibility. An upholstered headboard in a delicious rich rust-red velvet and scalloped details ground the bed in the center of the room.
The result is a welcoming space that honors its past whilst embracing modern luxuries and offering a welcoming sanctuary to unwind.
